In 1997, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Shanxi Normal University; after graduation, she taught at the vocational high school in Beijing. She led the students to win the 2nd and 3rd prizes of Beijing Animation Competition.
In 2002, she started her work in Nanyang Education Group, which is the largest private educational institution in China, and participated in the work of International Department of the Group and participated in the construction of International University; as the International University Student Affairs Minister and Admissions Minister, she has unique insights and rich experience of the enrollment and student management of international university.
In 2005, she studied in the Guanghua School of Management in Peking University.In 2008, she obtained the Master Degree Certificate of Business Administration from Peking University.
At the end of 2006, she founded the CCE International Exchange Association which is committed to the educational exchange undertaking between China and North America. In the past 11 years, CCE has organized more than 400 training groups of management and technical people from Chinese government, enterprises and schools to take training and exchange in American and Canada’s schools and enterprises. As the President of CCE, she led her team to assist the State Asset Management Committee of China who successfully organized a CNC machine tool contest between technical workers from Chinese central enterprises and technical workers from American enterprises in the United States in 2013. In 2015, CCE successfully held an aircraft maintenance contest. And CCE help Chinese institutions and American institutions with teacher exchange visits, students’ abroad study and visits. CCE contributes to the cooperation on running schools between Chinese and American colleges and universities. And CCE recommended a large number of students studying abroad to San Francisco State University and other colleges and universities in the United States.
At the beginning of 2016, she established Global Applied Technical Education and contributed to “100-100 Plan” project of China-US education field. “100-100 Plan” plans to promote the cooperation between 100 pairs of Chinese and American colleges and universities, the cooperation between 100 pairs of Chinese and American enterprises. As the organizer of the project, GATE will work together with more Chinese and American colleges and universities, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, to achieve the goal of win-win, joint building and common development.
Ms.Guo Yaqin has committed to the exchange and cooperation of applied talents education and international education for more than 20 years to help win-win cooperation of Chinese and American colleges and universities, to help teachers with getting more opportunities to improve the skills and more opportunities to expand their international vision, to help Chinese and American students with more opportunities to exchange, integrate and learn, so that more Chinese students have access to vocational skills and potential development, have access to international certificates and the opportunity for studying abroad.
Integrate the use of international applied technical education resources to help students to build their golden careers in the blue ocean business, that is the goal of GATE and also the mission of Ms. Guo Yaqin.
